Leaving Ishigaki.
Although my place was in Sonai I arrived from Ishigaki to Kubura after almost five hours ferry boat. I was lying all the time due to the considerable waves that day. The East China Sea is not allways so peacefull.
Arriving Yonaguni.
Arriving Kubura harbour.
Little village, 400 inhabitants around (the whole island less than 2.000).
Fishermen working.
Kuburabari is a holy place beside the sea.
Hokora (tiny shrine) in Kuburabari.
Small lake beside Kubura.
Cows farm.
Irizaki cape lighthouse, the westernmost point in Japan.
From this point to Taiwan there are only 111 kilometers of distance.
Kubura harbour entrance from Irizaki cape.
Kubura beach.
The most dressed vending machine I have ever seen. An interesting way to fight against erosion surely.
Two nice sisters attend the fishermen restaurant in the harbour. Good food. おいしい
I didn´t fish it.
I just eated some other delicious "sakana".
